The Type 9 license (archery only during the month of Sept.) in this area is a high demand license and there are some good bulls that are taken on the BLM land. We can help you through the application process. There is a lot of BLM land in Wyoming Elk Hunt Area 45 that will have elk during the archery season. You can count on strong and dependable horses and professional guides. Our hunts are all-inclusive with the exception of your travel, licenses, and gear. This is a very unique opportunity to be hunting where the elk are… always. When the snow flies and the bulls start migrating the most effective hunts are done from the base camp. Early season finds us hunting from one of our remote wilderness camps and/or one of our spike camps. However, the general deer season will be open that same. If you have a type 4, I would hunt high earlier in the season, but you could probably find elk throughout the whole area in early October. Our base is a comfortable drive-in camp, approximately 30 miles from our hometown of Ten Sleep, Wyoming. If you have a type 6, good luck since most of the public land is off limits, unless you archery hunt in September.
